Situated in the Cathar commune of Puivert just 57k from Carcassonne airport, this beautifully renovated stone cottage offers spacious accommodation for 6 people. The cottage is equipped with free fibre wifi, flat screen tv, fully equipped kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine, full bed linen, towels, open plan living and dining area. There is off street parking and a private garden for alfresco dining. Just a 4 minute walk to the Dorival restaurant and a 6 minute walk to Puivert swimming lake. Puivert offers a post office, village shop and restaurant, Musée du Quercorb and several other restaurants in season.
Puivert is ideally located in the heart of Cathar region. Many Cathar castles are nearby. The 12th century castle in Puivert is just a 2km walk. Located in the foothills of the pyrenees there are many activities in the area. Skiing in the winter months, hiking, bike riding, rafting, fresh water swimming.
