The B&B suites settled in this small manor from the XVII and XVIII century are fully restored and furnished with authenticity and a special attention to detail and yet have all the modern amenities to create a true atmosphere of a cosy and charming French home! Erected in a pastoral setting of nearly one hectare, the property is a home from home in a rural setting, close to all facilities, activities and tourist attractions.
The owners put all their heart to ensure the well-being of their guests. They aim at making guests feel special and pampered during their all stay. They have been wishing to take up this character mansion because the house is beautiful and has a peaceful atmosphere but also because part of the enjoyment is in being able to share pleasures of living in this part of France with others. Since they live on site, they are happy to be responsive to their renters needs. Want to know more about apple products? Discover the restored former apple store! Nestled at the foot of a Cistercian Abbey and close to Falaise, the city of William The Conqueror, the Manoir de La Pataudière is located in the heart of the Lower Normandy countryside, at the crossroad of the different Calvados areas. All within a reach, you can discover the tourist attractions of our Region: historical sites (William the conqueror castle at Falaise, D-day landing beaches, WWII sites and museums, Bayeux tapestry), artistic and cultural places to visit and events not to miss, treasures of Heritage and architecture, as well as many leisure facilities (aquatic center, canoeing places, horse-riding places, bike paths...) and children activities (vast sandy beaches, miniature railway, zoos, theme parks...). The Manoir de La Pataudière is also an ideal step on the road to Mont Saint-Michel. The owners will be happy to give you maps, brochures and flyers on what to see and to do.
