Avignon is largely pedestrianised. If you enter the town via porte st Michel you can get near to the apartment and park or load and unload the car. It is not possible to get close to the apartment through other gates. Avignon est en grande partie piétonne. Si vous entrez dans la ville par la porte st Michel, vous pouvez vous approcher de l'appartement et vous garer ou charger et décharger la voiture. Il n'est pas possible de s'approcher de l'appartement par d'autres portes. The apartment is situated in the heart of Avignon, next to a stunning medieval park, the tourist office and plenty of cafe's restaurants, shops and bars. The station and the Pope's Palace are both 10 minutes walk away. Surrounding Avignon in all directions there are stunning mountain ranges, The Alpilles, The Dentelles Du Montmirail and the Luberon. I am a hiking guide, I can advise you where to hike or you can book a day out. The iconic Pont du Gard is a 35 minute drive away. As well world renowned villages such as the antique paradise, the Isle Sur la Sorgue and St Remy de Provence made famous by Nostradamus and Van Gogh.
