This pretty townhouse is a spacious well equipped three bedded property with a terrace and spa. Its well situated in a quiet street in the centre of the village within walking distance of all the local amenities.
We are an english couple with three young kids who have lived here in the south west of France for the past 13 years. We very much enjoy living in this area which is very outdoorsy with plenty of local events going on. We will do our very best to help you with any needs and make sure you enjoy your stay.
Amou is a quaint village with plenty of local amenities, there are 3 good restaurants and a takeaway pizza place. There is a good size supermarket, post office, bank and a couple of bakerys. There is a busy market on a sunday morning and lots of local events and fetes. It is half an hour away from Pau and Dax and about an hour to the coast ( Biarritz, saint jean de luz, Cabreton, Labenne and Moilets etc), it is about an hour and a half from the nearest ski resorts and an hour from the spanish border. The local community are very friendly and there is plenty of local outdoor facilities and places to visit. There is an outdoor swimming pool in the village too.
