Mountain View Townhouse is a boutique chambre d'hote offering luxury accommodation in the beautiful Upper Aude Valley region of France. Customers can stay in either of two double size en-suite rooms ('Fitou' Room and 'Blanquette' Room), mountain views from Blanquette Room, forest/partial mountain views from Fitou Room, subject to availability. A continental breakfast is included in the price. MVT is ideally located in the heart of Quillan, within walking distance of the restaurants, bars and shops. It is advisable to reserve a table at a restaurant in order to avoid disappointment.
Melissa and Clive are an outgoing English couple living their dream life in the south-west of France. We look forward to welcoming you to Mountain View Townhouse! We live on site and will be available to contact should you have any queries.
Quillan is located at the foothills of the Pyrenees, on the road between Carcassonne and Perpignan. The River Aude runs through the town. At the base of the mountains, fields of sunflowers and vineyards straddle the roads with snow-capped peaks in the distance. The location is thought of as one of the most spectacular in France, which is one of the reasons for the increase in tourism and migration to the area. Peyrepertuse, Montsegur, Puilauren, Queribus, Roquefixade and other spectacular ancient Cathar sites are within easy reach.
