    “Very nice host. He came out to greet us even though it was New Year's Eve and a little late. And he left us a bottle of wine to toast. Very comfortable, spacious and clean house. It was a shame to have to leave so quickly the next day.”

Orchard Farm is a farm house dating from 1924 as part of the reconstruction post World War 1, located in the heart of the Somme battlefields in the quiet village of Combles, it is calm and private.
It is within a 5 - 20 minute drive of the main sites of the Battle of the Somme (Thiepval, Beaumont Hamel, Delville Wood, Hawthorn Ridge, Lochnagar crater etc). About 15 minutes from the town of Peronne which has many restaurants, bars and 20 minutes from Albert.
