Exclusive use of a heated pool (open May to September) and hot tub for guests of the gite. Free Wifi, dvd, Large TV, bikes and table tennis. The property is minutes away from both the Dordogne and Vézère valleys. A peaceful rural location yet situated just 800 metres from the centre of the village (mini supermarket, restaurant and post office), 11km south of Vergt, and 15 kms north of Le Bugue with their numerous tourist attractions, weekly markets and selection of supermarkets. Close to local Boulangeries for your morning croissants and bread.
We fell in love with the Dordogne and all it has to offer. We welcome guests from all over the world and are on hand to help make your stay a special and memorable event. Helen is an artist and Andy works in real estate in the local countryside.
A short drive away is access to the Vezere and Dordogne rivers - lots of canoeing activities, castles, restaurants, family parks, zip wires, and fabulous caves are all close by to explore and enjoy. There is a weekly market in the adjacent local village and an abundance of historical buildings, churches, villages, castles and museums to explore. Being located in the centre of the Dordogne, right in the heart of the Perigord region, sells itself - weather, countryside, culture, history and lifestyle. In addition to this, the tranquil and peaceful rural location of this property offers the chance to switch off in an idyllic setting and to unwind with friends and family. The Dordogne has lots to offer couples, families and our house is in a fabulous location to take advantage of all it has to offer.
