Newly refurbished’Voir La Beaute’ near Cognac in South West France , sleeps 10, with a private pool, set in private grounds in the small village of Haimps. In front of the house is a lovely large terrace with BBQ& outdoor furniture . Step down to the decked area with a beautiful heated swimming pool. The house is south facing & benefits from the sun all day long. The house has been fitted out to a very high standard as the owner is an Interior Designer. There is a striking original Charentaise Fireplace & the house benefits from super fast Fibre WiFi. This idyllic French village is surrounded by Sunflower fields & Vineyards. The nearby town of Matha is a 5 minute drive away & has all amenities including EV Chargers. The sandy beaches of Royan & the beautiful La Rochelle & Ile de Re are less than an hours drive away. The old town of Cognac is 20 minutes from the house & Golf du Cognac is a 15 minute drive. There are some lovely local restaurants we can recommend nearby.
Welcome to our beautiful holiday home in the sleepy village of Haimps. We are a family of 4 & this is our second home that we’ve lovingly restored. It is our home from home & we hope you will love it as much as we do.
Haimps is a sleepy village near the beautiful town of Cognac, surrounded by Sunflower fields & Vineyards it is very friendly. The local town of Matha is 5 minutes drive away & has a large supermarket & all other amenities you could need. It is only 50 minutes to the coast & La Rochelle & Ile de Re are well worth a daytrip. Cognac has lots of distilleries & cognac makers you can visit to taste the Cognac & see how it is made. The local tipple is called Pineau & very delicious!
