A home away from home nestling in the heart of the rural French countryside – Welcome to The Sans Souci Estate. Since 1990, this once-working farmhouse has been transformed into an estate of delight and wonder whilst maintaining its picturesque and rural history. From the moment you walk through the double gated entrance you are welcomed with calm aura surrounded by nature. The Sans Souci Estate offers you the chance to relax in rural France, in an area of tranquil peace in the midst of nature, yet with every luxury and convenience that you could possibly need. The Chalet is located on the main property and has Pool access which is just over 1km outside of the village of Chatelus-Malvaleix in a small hamlet. The Chateau House is located in the village of Chatelus-Malvaleix and is close to the swimming lake & restaurant in Chatelus-Malvaleix. The Spa is located just opposite The Chalet and contains our Beauty Room, Jacuzzi and Sauna which is available for use for all guests at a cost (please send us a message to enquire about the prices).
The owners, Shane & Tracy first discovered the area of France known as the Creuse by chance after seeing an advertisement in an English newspaper and soon after purchased what was to become The Sans Souci Estate. Now after over 30 years of hard work, renovation, inspiration and love the estate is ready to welcome you. You too can escape to enjoy the beauty of the area, the local food and of course the wine!
