Enjoy the peaceful and quiet atmosphere of an iconic countryside. Our home - an old farmhouse typical of the Rennes area - is the ideal basecamp to explore and discover the wonders of the surrounding area. We'll be happy to share our address book, as well as suggestions for off-the-beaten-track visits.
We're a happy epicurean couple. We're curious about our surroundings and involved in the life of our community. We love to travel, discovering a different place each time, an unknown culture and exotic cuisine. 3 years ago, we transferred from the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg, where we had lived for 30 years, to settle in Brittany. We would be delighted to welcome you soon !
Our holiday home is located in Cardroc, a 600 inhabitant’s village. You'll find a local restaurant, a well-known second-hand goods dealer, a remarkable church and a riding school. Our house is located on the hiking trail “Montmuran-Les Iffs”. We're located in “Romantic Brittany” - a vast area stretching from Rennes to the Emerald Coast. You'll discover charming towns like Combourg and Bécherel. You’ll enjoy beautiful walks, surprising discoveries and a plunge into a medieval past. We are 8 minutes drive from the "petite cité de caractère" of Bécherel, 22 minutes from Dinan, 27 minutes from Rennes, 32 minutes from the "petite cité de caractère" of Saint Suliac, 41 minutes from Dinard, 43 minutes from Cancale, 45 minutes from Saint-Malo and 60 minutes from Mont Saint Michel.
