Just minutes from Avignon Center, the Villa Bacchus is in a quiet, green and nice neighborhood. The pool is to share with the owners (us) but can be use like a private pool. Our personal house is on the other side of the pool, with no view on each other property and our individual private entry gate.The villa is in stone on the outside with a typical Provencal decor. For your confort you will have AC, floor heating, chemine, shaded terrasse and parking inside the court yard closed with an automatic gate. Avignon is very central in Provence. Every famous sightseeing is less than one hour drive, so this can be a good place to base yourself and explore Provence...
I am born and raised in Avignon. I started hosting at the villa Bacchus in 2013 and I love what I do. My husband and I always worked in the tourism industry so we have a great sense of service. We do our best to give some good advices about places to eat, things to do and see. He also specialises in Wine Tour, which could be a good addition to your vacation if you are interested in the wine in the Rhone Valley.
Beeing so close to Avignon gives you the option to relax or to go in town and enjoy the madness, especially in the summer time or during the World Theater Festival. Having a car is highly recommended but some of my guest like to walk and are taking buses, and even walk to town (25mn walk max). From town you can catch a train to all major sightseeings.
