Company information

Together with Daniela Goldstein I manage the guest house Villa Belle Rive and the vacation apartments on the premises. Both Daniela and I have spend many years teaching instructors for SCUBA divers (we still do in the diving school on the premises). Cooking for our guests is one of the activities we enjoy. We also spend time in unraveling the history of this fantastic Villa which goes back to the time of Napoleon the third and has been instrumental in the early development of motion pictures (related to the brothers Lumière), the implementation of Unilever on the European Mainland (mainly via Sunlight Soap), but also in the French history of "les beau arts" - especially in the domain of architecture.

Property information

This Villa - located directly at the beach - was named "Villa Belle Rive" in 1863, meaning Villa "the beautiful coast". It was designed by one of the most famous architects of those times. The grounds of over 3'600 square metres assure tranquility despite its central location with easy access to all that the city of Cannes and its surroundings have to offer. Villa Belle Rive is the ideal "home base" for those who have business in Cannes or who want to explore the most beautiful area of the "Cote d'Azure". On site you will find comfortable common areas.

The Villa is an ideal "home base". The train station from Cannes la Bocca is only a minute walk and the closest bus stop is just outside the main gate. Getting to Cannes or any other city in the area is easy.
