The history of the villa: The history of Villa Castel is as atypical as its architecture. It was a Dieppe architect, Louis Ménage, who had the idea in 1930 to acquire 3 houses that were located in the current location to bring them together and design this magnificent Anglo-Norman complex. To give even more character to the villa, he added the tower, the bow windows and the roof made of small terracotta tiles. A secret garden at the foot of the castle: - Just below the ramparts, the garden of Villa Castel can be guessed as you go along: - A pretty shaded terrace to which you can access by a small stone staircase, ideal for tea, breakfast, a glass of champagne in the early evening or simply to rest - A beautiful lawn to relax or sunbathe.
