The village of Les Vans offers numerous restaurants and plenty of entertainment throughout the summer. Its narrow streets house façades dating back to the 16th century and there are many hiking and cycling tours available in the area. The impressive silhouettes of the limestone rocks of the Bois de Païolive, home to a distillery that can be reached on a horseback ride, are a must-see. A visit to the Gorges du Chassezac, for a picnic or to go fishing, climbing or paragliding, is also worthwhile.
