We came to France in 2012, being Dutch, mostly for a change of climat. We are together already for over 40 years. We have had a Yorkshire Terrier all of our lives.

Property info

Our house, at the time, was "built with money" and has a Chateau-style façade. When we bought the house it was split into appartments. We brought back the original lay-out, whilst fitting in 5 more bathrooms and an elevator. When decorating our Villa, we aim to bring back the atmosphere of the 1920's and 1930's, yet we do not compromise on modern comfort, like bathrooms with Italian rainshowers and airconditioned rooms. Guests arrive as strangers, yet leave as friends...

Neighborhood info

We are in the very center of a lively city with 40.000 people. There are some 50 restaurants within walking distance (7 to 8 minutes at most) and we will happily advise you where to (not) go. Around Montélimar there are many things to explore: Musea, Lavender (june-July), Truffles (in winter), the fighter aircraft museum, castles & fortresses, lovely villages. Somewhat further away are Mont Ventoux, the City of Chocolat, the largest "Marché Provençale" (Vaison la Romaine) and the Rhône Wines...
