Both Walnut and Chestnut Gites are newly redecorated and have 3 bedrooms with ensuites, fully equipped kitchen/dining area inside with TV. Outside there are separate outdoor dining areas with a bbq. There is a shared games area, with pool, ping pong, table football and a basketball hoop. There is a large 6x12 swimming pool with seating area and sun loungers. Both gites are on the first floor of the building with stairs and it's own front door. Our guests enjoy our large pool in the summer and our, on site games here, or the choice to go out to have many adventures here in the lovely Dordogne. We live in an ideal area within easy reach of a water park, go-carting, an adventure park, historical park, caves with ancient paintings, canoeing/kayaking. We are within reach of the lovely medieval cities of Perigeuex, Sarlat and Bergerac

We have always loved France and decided to make it our permanent home after leaving the UK. We love our home and garden and sharing that with people coming for a holiday is a privilege. We live in lovely green countryside with some nice wildlife and the chance for some peace and quiet. What's not to love!

Our direct neighbourhood is a scattering of 5 or 6 houses in the area but lots of trees and greenery. Five minute drive and you'll be at a waterpark with amusements and a go-carting track. Our nearest town of Le Bugues boasts a large amusement park, with an aquarium, crazy golf, and giant climbing frame. Next door to that park is another historical park witch has areas showcasing different bygone crafts with fairground rides and restaurants or picnic areas. Le Bugues has all the essential shopping you'll need for your stay, including Lidl/Aldi and Intermarche, and local restaurants. Markets are twice a week with night markets during the summer months.
