You will be welcomed into our home by us with our 2 very friendly dogs. It is a special place to stay in the most beautiful, peaceful country setting. Breakfast is part of your stay, with fresh pastries, bread, jam, marmalade, cheese and of course tea and coffee. The house is a very old farmhouse with a small lounge for guests to use with French television, and there is plenty of space to either wander in the gardens or the local lanes, or to just sit in the peaceful setting. The bedrooms are all found upstairs via a winding staircase, with the shared shower room/toilet in the same corridor. Salle de douche/toilettes communes. A geat place for a break from touring/driving, or just a short vacation from busy, working lives. We have ample private parking and a secure garage is available for cars, motorcycles or bicycles. We are English first language, but learning French as we go.

My name is Amanda and my husband is Jeff, we are originally from the UK. I have been in retail for the last 30 odd years, but did have a background of hotels, and bed and breakfast when I was young and my parents businesses. Our home is small holding with two dogs and a number of ducks/chickens/geese/turkeys that wander the farm yard. We will always greet your arrival with our two overly friendly dogs. We speak English, with some French (I am learning).

It is a very rural area amidst cattle farms and many green pastures, and is 3km from the village of Fougerolles du Plessis, which has a bank, supermarket, boulangerie, tabac and pharmacy. The village has a lake for a lovely stroll or for fishing with a daily permit. And a restaurant for lunch time meals only.
