I love leysdown it has stayed the same for years and I love...
I love leysdown it has stayed the same for years and I love that. Prices are very reasonable and it always looks clean and tidy despite what some people think. The people are always friendly I’ve not met a bad 1 yet. It is very family oriented and that’s what I love about it. Also just a short drive or 10 minute walk past leysdown is Shellness where your dogs are allowed I love taking my shitzu down there.

We walked from Leysdown to Shellness and inland through the Nature reserve to the 1000 year old church had lunch in the only Inn 'Ferry Inn', nice food but not much for vegans (I am vegan). Felt nice being in nature. The second day visited Emely Nature reserve lots of wild life to see, birds hares etc. Didn't do the arcades etc. so it depends what you want from a holiday and which parts of the Island you visitSarahUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Lovely old fashioned seaside town. Friendly people. Nice beach. Plenty of places to eat out. Went to sheerness to Barton. There was a canal. Lots of greenery for dog walkers & a nice little cafe.

I do not believe the photos on their web site. It's situated on a run down side roads. And they do not accept medium to large size dogs. the host was rude and drunk. We were stranded. No buses after 5.30pm. Also the site looks like a scene from an American horror movie set on a 'hilly billy' trailer park, therefore not safe for children or pets. Later I sat down and cried. It was the worst place I've ever been to.

Located in quiet place ..very close to the beach ..but didn't know i had to pay extra money for all the beddings ..and had to pay deposit as well which i am still waiting for my deposit back ... Chalet was ok but i wouldn't go back same place ...AAnonymousUnited Kingdom
