Rotherham is a hidden gem with an abundance of things to do. It has a brand-new cinema in the town centre.
My house is on the border of Eastwood and East Dean close to Rotherham town centre where you will find a Street market almost every day, Monday & Friday is General market day, Thursday is Asian bazaar. There is a bus stop right outside the house going to Sheffield or other direction go into Doncaster on the other side of the road. Local free library is not far away from the house with free parking in their car park, explore a fascinating collection of art, history at Clifton Park Museum, Thrybergh Country Park is well worth a visit it’s wildlife and birds, white swans in abundance you can feed the swans, walk around the massive lake, there is ample parking with a small café with toilet facilities. Visit the Magna Science Centre for Events or get active outdoors at Rother Valley Country Park. Visit New York Stadium home to Rotherham united football club.There’s something for everyone to experience.
