This is a contemporary holiday home with everything (I think) that you will need away from home! I have tried to create a very clean and comfortable retreat in which you can relax. We are double glazed and have efficient radiators in every room. For those winter stays you will find a slow cooker and recipe books so you can create a meal in the morning, enjoy all the stunning walks available and return to a homecooked meal! The pictures you see are genuine and reflect not only the stunning views but the lovely contemporary fixtures and fittings of our home. The exterior furniture is also of a high quality and includes a hideaway table in the small garden, bistro furniture in the main part of the garden, a lovely table, six chairs and a parasol. Bedding and towels are not provided. Duvets & Pillows provided. Our home is built on an old quarry and has plenty of unique features not found in typical holiday parks. We are tucked away and quite hidden from view, especially in the spring and summer when the trees and bushes grow! You will find peace and quiet here as we are a residency and everyone here respects each others tranquillity. The private car space is next to the home. Please note that this accommodation is suitable for a maximum of 4 adults; 2 in the main bedroom (kingsize) and 2 on the lounge sofa bed (small double). It will also accommodate 2 small children in the twin room (twin beds) as the twin beds are small and would suit up to 12 years of age. Please also note that, as referred to above, we provide duvets and pillows but NOT duvet covers, bed sheets, pillowcases or towels, so you will need to bring these items yourself.
As a host I will always endeavour to provide my guests with the overall experience I would like to see myself on holiday. Swanage plays host to some famous festivals. It is a quaint town with many historic buildings; the beaches of Swanage & neighbouring Studland (8 min away (3.6 mi) via Ulwell Rd) are sandy, clean and safe...the views are spectacular! Our holiday home is built on a unique site and to afford our stunning views, we are based on a hill with views of the Isle of Wight and countryside views from Swanage Bay all the way to the turrets of Corfe Castle. It is a ten minute walk to the beach & town from our holiday home but beware...that is downhill the uphill return is more of a challenge! Swanage people are really friendly and will go out of their way to help you, unaffected by the hustle & bustle of large towns & cities...Our home has a lovely swimming pool and fully equipped gym, which you are entitled to use at an additional cost. Although we have a Bar and Costa Coffee we are a residency so whilst we have occasional entertainment it is not a typical holiday park. Swanage Bay View is so quiet & peaceful yet there is plenty to do for the children and as a family. We live next to Townsend Nature Reserve which affords stunning views and is ideal for dog walks.
