A Charming Traditional 3 Bedroom former Fisherman’s Cottage set in the central Whitehills. The cottage was built Circ 1900 and recently upgraded and renovated providing a warm, comfy interior with all the charm of the original cottage. The property is set in its own grounds and features 3 double bedrooms easily accommodating 6 Adults, with the additional option of a travel cot for a little one. 2 Bathrooms, a Cosy Lounge/Diner and separate kitchen area ensure all the essentials are covered. There is a separate snug/office space on the ground floor which can used as an office or just a place to relax and read. With a large open rear garden and decking terrace, their is ample secure outside space to keep pets and children alike, safe and in sight. Close to shops, pubs, restaurants and a fish & chip takeaway, catering and dining is well covered. A large childrens play park is a short 2 minute walk away as is the Marina and gallery restaurant. White sandy beaches are a short walk away past the childrens play park.
Hi we are Dan and Zerina We own this lovely little cottage in Whitehills’s and enjoy the area using it as a pet and child friendly holiday home, and also letting it out for others to take advantage of the wonderful area! Having lived in NE Scotland for over 15 years we truly love everything it has to offer including great walking, mountain biking, fishing and of course boating. As parents of children across an age range of 21 down to 3, we understand the importance of having a family friendly base for any holiday that is easy, convenient, comfortable and welcoming. We also understand that bringing the family pet for many is as much part of any break or holiday and welcome dogs. Feel free to contact us at anytime with any questions or enquiries.
Whitehill is a great village with a lovely balance of amenities (A Pub, A Restaurant, A Fish and Chip shop, A Convenience Shop, A Fresh Fish shop all within 1 min walk from the cottage, yet it is not too busy or mobbed that you feel crowded. For those with Children the Kids Playpark down past the Marina (2 min walk) is fantastic and great for keeping young ones of all ages entertained. Coupled with large open grass areas, a nice couple of paddling spots when the tide is in, ensures youngsters can burn off that energy before bed time! There are nice walks between Whitehills and Banff, and Whitehills and Portsoy following the coast trails. Large white Sandy Beaches are 15min walk away towards Banff. Banff is just a 3 1/2 mile walk and of which has all the facilities and amenities you would expect in a medium sized town
