The village of Gravir is on the east coast of the island approximately forty-five minutes drive from Stornoway. The house is situated in an elevated position with panoramic views overlooking Loch Gravir and the Minch, onto the mainland hills. It is well located for walking over the moors, fishing and for cycling along quiet, single track roads. It is the ideal location for touring Lewis and Harris and visiting the beautiful white sandy beaches and historical sites. The area of Pairc is an idyllic setting for thew keen birdwatcher and boasts many different types of wildlife including deer and eagles. Local amenities are within easy reach by car from Gravir. Ravenspoint Centre in Kershader is the local shop which also has 24 hour fuel access, a cafe and the local historical archive.
