Close to Stornoway town centre, No. 5a is the perfect place from which to explore Lewis and Harris. This newly renovated apartment is located on the ground floor and has a private courtyard area to the back with table and chairs to enjoy relaxing or dining alfresco. The apartment has a bright open plan living area with smart TV, free Wi-Fi, gas central heating and an electric log burner affect fire. The kitchen area is fully equipped with gas oven and hob, large fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and kettle. The bedroom has a king size bed and a fitted wardrobe. The shower room has a large walk in shower. There is free on street parking.
We are a local couple who love our beautiful islands and look forward to welcoming you to our newly renovated cozy apartment. We live a few minutes away from the property and are happy to help out if needed.
5a is close to the town centre where you will find shops, restaurants, cafes and bars, sports centre and also Stornoway harbour and marina. The Lews Castle and beautiful castle grounds are a few minutes walk away as is the 18 hole golf course, Stornoway Golf Club. The ferry terminal is a short 10 min walk away and Stornoway Airport is less than a 10 min drive (3.5 miles) This centrally located apartment is the ideal base for exploring the Callanish Stones, Gearrannan Blackhouse Village, Carloway Broch, The Blackhouse Arnol, The Museum Nan Eilean, The Iolaire Memorial to name but a few, not forgetting the many outstanding beaches to be found all over our beautiful Island.
