Anchorlea is a 3 storied, 3 bedroomed traditional townhouse located on the cobbled high street of picturesque Staithes which can accommodate up to 7. Within easy walking distance from the beach and the harbour. It has an outside seating area at the back of the house. Guests have use of a DEFRA approved smokeless zone wood burning stove which is perfect for those Winter evenings and initial fuel for the first evening is provided. On the second floor there is a large bedroom with a king size bed, and original wooden sash windows, and a newly installed bathroom with electric shower. The third floor comprises a bunk bed room and a large front bedroom with double bed and a single bed. Anchorlea is heated by a newly installed electric heating system.
Locally there are 2 traditional pubs, the Captain Cook Heritage Centre, the Cleveland Way walking trail as well as an array of independent shops and businesses. The cottage is family and dog friendly. a parking permit is provided for 1 vehicle at the Bank Top car park.
