I have been in the Hospitality Industry all my life. I am interested in local Scottish History and I am an amateur Genealogist and am able to help with lots of questions on Scotland, our History and your genealogy.

Property information

The property is a detached Victorian Villa built in the 1860's. All our rooms are en suite and are individually decorated and furnished. Most of our furniture is of Antique design and is solid wood. All rooms have charging sockets for modern technology and tea and coffee facilities. We have an extensive range of Historic Books and information for tourists and those seeking information about their ancestors. We are a 10 to 15 Minute walk from the Centre

Neighbourhood information

Our Home is in a quiet area within 10-15 minutes walking distance to the City Centre. It is a straight route down to the River Ness and across a walking only suspension bridge. Once on the other side you have the choice to walk along the River Ness or carry on through one of the Historic Lanes that take you into the Old Town. The Old Town is full of Restaurants and Pubs for you to choose from for your Evening meal or just a wee sip of our good old Scotch Whisky. There is also a good selection of Tourist Shops which, in the Season, are open until 8-9pm.
