Hello, we are an Orcadian family of three here to welcome you into our home and new B&B venture. This is our first full year of being able to offer accommodation, which is separate from our own living areas. We are happy to give you space but equally keen to meet and help you with your stay in Orkney.

An Orcadian welcome to our family run B&B with newly refurbished en-suite guest bedrooms and dining room.
Situated on the outskirts of Kirkwall with spectacular views over the town, harbour and countryside. A great location to work from or relax in after a day of exploring our unique island.
Private guests entrance into the guest dining room with stairway leading to the three bedrooms on the first floor. Self-serve breakfast foods provided in the dining room which is equipped with sink, kettle, toaster, microwave, oven, fridge/freezer, crockery, utensils etc. This room can be used by guests anytime during your stay.
Self check-in available if we are unable to welcome you on arrival.
Private parking for one vehicle per room and outdoor storage available for bicycles, golf clubs etc. Use of the garden and furniture shared with the owners.
We are on the town bus route for non drivers with buses passing the door every hour during the daytime.
Neighbourhood information
Our home is on the outskirts of town, approx 1.5 miles from the harbour front yet within walking distance to town. Choose to drive, use the town bus service which passes by the house or walk. There are optional walks via the grassy track past the golf course or down through Muddiesdale woods.
We overlook the golf course which is within walking distance.
For the keen walkers you can head up the tracks to the top of Wideford Hill where the views are breathtaking and you can explore the Cairn. There is also a road to drive to the top.
Further along the Sunnybank Road there Is a local stonemason who has hand built a scale sized Chevy truck and is in the process of completing Orkney chairs, at the same site, both out of Orkney stone. ‘Friends of Orkney Stoneworks’ on Facebook
