We know how important quality time with loved ones is nowadays and Ballimore House is ideal to leave the stresses of city life behind and reconnect with those that matter most! Get away from the hustle and bustle and relax and enjoy time on this picturesque farm surrounded by cows, sheep and plenty of beautiful Scottish countryside - just two hours drive North of Glasgow!
We moved to the Scottish West Coast in 2009 and have thoroughly embraced life on the farm in the hills behind Oban, raising our children and looking after our sheep and highland cows. Not always having mobile phone reception or access to internet is not unusual around this part of the country but we feel lucky for having found our ‘home’ and we thrive to share the beauty of the rugged wildness of Argyll with our guests.
Ballimore Farm is a fantastic place! Away from traffic giving you the feeling of being remote, even ‘cut off from civilisation - but it really isn’t! The fantastic Kilchrenan Inn is only three miles down the road, Taynuilt with its grocery shop, butcher, post office, hairdresser, cafe and train station is only 7miles away and for more shops, restaurants, bars, cafes and of course the ferries to the the isles - Oban is 30minutes drive away.
