Company information

Getting stuck in to the renovation of Bank House has been an incredible project starting in 2013. While the main renovation of the property was completed in 2015 the current phase involves the landscaping and planting of the garden - my current obsession. We have created a lovely south facing terrace where guests can relax and enjoy the garden.

Property information

Bank House is a gorgeous early Georgian town house set in the centre of the quirky market town of Bishop's Castle. Fully renovated in 2015 the house now has five spacious guest rooms each with an ensuite shower room (including one with a roll top bath). The aim is to provide country house comfort plus fab breakfasts. You will be welcomed with tea and cake on arrival. The house is often booked by groups of friends/ families for special celebrations or for weddings. Bank House also hosts regular art exhibitions, music events and craft workshops as well as being a big feature in the regular festivals in the town.

Neighbourhood information

Bishop's Castle sits on the edge of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is a perfect base for walking or cycling holidays. Local highlights include the Long Mynd, Stiperstones and Offa's Dyke. The town itself has a very active social scene with festivals every week throughout of the summer - the beer festival is legendary - culminating in Michaelmas Fair in September. We too very successful breweries including the Three Tuns which is the oldest licences brewery in the UK. The town also has a good selection of independent shops and some excellent restaurants.
