Please use the hand sanitising areas around the house. Sheba, Asia, Dexter and Nacho Storm and Wolf are house cats From Animal Welfare Furness Rescue Centre. BUT Sheba tends to visit bedrooms as a comfy spot to relax for her wellbeing so try your best to keep doors closed. We have now added a baby gate at bottom of stairs to stop cats getting upstairs. We polity ask Guests to Remove footwear at the bottom of stairs. GUESTS please keep Front Door LOCKED at all times. When checking out please post key through the letter box. For town centre and hospital. Barrow has lots of lovely walking areas and beach and Costal views, a small high street but a fair few eating places. South Walney Nature Reserve Birds and seals and south lakes Zoo very close by in car less than 15 min drive. The Dock Museum has plenty to tell you on the town and Furness Abbey to view too. We also have a nice walk up the old line taking you to Rampside towards the Concle pub but walk to Roe island where the RNLI station is as well as a boat to Piel island, where you may see some seals about.
I am available most of the time just ask for assistance if required. I'm generally out in garden within Spa area doing treatments, Or just relaxing out the back in the pod chairs. Myself & Wendy do all the Treatments and we do couples treatments together at weekends and a brief list on www.barrowspatherapycom. Sheba 1 of my pets has communication skills but I'm yet to understand them, but she's very vocal and please keep bedroom door shut otherwise she will join you in bed. Asia normally sits out front garden area but she's a quiet cat n likes her own space. Dexter is a lovely ball of hair and chills out in back garden areas. 4 of my cats are black short & long haired, whilst Nacho is Ginger with white paws 🐾 and Storm is a very cute Gray young lady very petite, whist Wolf is as soft furry but he's a big cat and vocal but can bite.
A few nice walks around near the docks taking you up the old line past gas terminal towards the concle pub and Roe island area. Also a lovely walk to Furness abbey and back via roose. The dock museum a nice historical place to visit and has a nice seating and walking area up past Furness college and goes uptowards ormsgill area. In Dalton in Furness on a Tuesday in the town square is a local market with a vew traders also a nice garden centre with cafe and we have South lakes Zoo with a variety of animals and you book for feeding some of these. The Costal road has lovely views of morcambe bay area and Some nice ive cream stops with English Lakes ice cream ( Blackcurrant and Cream is FAB). A golf course is also their. In Ulverston their is a nice Buddhist temple well worth a visit, and a lot of small independent local shops and a market on Thursday & Saturday. The Pepper pot (Hoad) is worth a visit also. Barrow is about 25 mins from Newby Bridge and 45 mins to Bowness on Windermere where you can get to Ambleside and Grasmere and Keswick.
