During lockdown we have renovated and updated our guest house. We are excited to welcome you to our idyllic rural retreat, far away from the hustle, bustle and stresses of everyday life. The top floor of the stable has been lovingly converted with a big bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and large sitting room. The stable is incredibly light and airy with beautiful views throughout that make you feel as though you are among the trees. It truly is the perfect country escape.
We are a family of five and live in a separate house in the grounds, the stable is self contained and not overlooked by us. We are happy to help you with anything to ensure that you have the happiest stay, just let us know!
From the Stable there are lots of local walks if you wish to explore the local countryside and we are happy to give you directions to our favourite countryside spots! The stable is very close to a number of really special properties and national trust houses (Forde Abbey, Montecute, Barrington, etc). We are a 35 minute drive from the stunning Jurassic Coastline. Depending on restrictions there are many award winning restaurants and pubs a short distance away. We are happy to let you know more about any activities that you may be interested in.
