The location and scenery were beautiful. I was able to walk to restaurants. There was a lovely fish pond and beautiful gardens on the property. I only wish I would have been able to stay longer.

Field View is a chalet style bungalow situated on a quiet road with fantastic views over fields and the river Thames. Each room is tastefully decorated with modern tones and complimented with antique furniture
My favourite hobby is horse riding. I love visiting the coast and walking with my dog. I enjoy scouting for antiques and restoring them to their former glory. I also enjoy gardening having a fair amount of land to sort out.
The village of Higham has connections to Charles Dickens. Gads Hill House is the last home that he lived in which is situated at the top of the village. Further to that is connections to Rochester, Cobham and Cooling which were all mentioned in his books. There are plenty of walks to be had either by the Thames along the tow path or Shorne country park about 2 miles away. There is a large network of other walks . The Rspb at Cliffe is about 3 miles away it is a must if you are an avid bird watcher. Cycle route 1 runs along the old canal about a mile away which makes us about 23 miles away from London a great stopover for keen cyclists.
