Settled in the Blackdown Hills, Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, explore a variety of walking routes through steep valleys, enchanting forests and farmland. Wellington is the nearest town, a fantastic hub for local food and drink and specialist shops.
A little further afield is Taunton, boasting independent and high street shops, a variety of eateries and a wealth of history. Or visit Honiton, a lively market town famous for its lace and pottery. Art lovers should take a trip to the Thelma Hulbert Gallery, featuring local art and frequent events and workshops.
Take in the pretty scenery and take a walk along the East Devon Way, or head to the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. Visit the pretty seaside towns and villages which include; Seaton, Beer, Branscombe and Sidmouth.
