In 2 days we visited the Deep, Ferens Art Gallery, and 4 museums, plus lots of great real ale pubs and a couple of good restaurants. We will revisit in 2025 for the Maritime museum, botanical gardens and the street food in be market hall which looked great and more pubs of course

Currently there are road works near the hotel .
Currently there are road works near the hotel . That and poor sat nav directions made negotiating the roads entering the outskirts of the city difficult. I know Hull is a great city to visit once there.
I would avoid sat nav and head for the signs for the Humber Bridge before turning onto the Beverley road to find the hotel.

What a great little city! Old Town a real gem of an area.
What a great little city! Old Town a real gem of an area. Lovely places to eat and take a drink, High Street full of character, and the oldest pubs of all. Great indoor market next to the impressive Minster church, live music on Thursday evenings, and great choices of food every day bar Sunday. Waterfront and marina areas lovely too - as it the Humber St and Fruit Market areas.
Then there's the Deep and Museum Quarter (latter free to visit), and even cycle hire through trinity backpackers. And the coast within the hour (or a little longer on the bike to Hornsea @ 15 miles away. And all so affordable. Thank you Hull!...

Some lovely buildings in Hull near Princess Quay the museum was free to walk around although like every other town a lot of shops in shopping centre vacant. the car parking is good value £3.00 for 24hours and the roads are well set out i.e with house parking, then lane for cyclists and then the gaps in middle to cross to other side of the road if you are going in wrong direction.

The city was not quite what I expected, being in some respects more European than British. It is full of incredibly impressive buildings (many of them pubs!) and the marina and quays are fascinating.
On the flip side, there is a huge amount of work being undertaken in and around the city centre at the moment, especially on the A163, and this makes getting around a little difficult for both drivers and pedestrians.

Hull is a great city to visit for a few nights .
Hull is a great city to visit for a few nights .The old quarter has lots of choice for restaurants and pubs lots being dog friendly and vegan menus available.
The old part is very smart and obviously has had a lot of money invested into it.
Also the the Princes Quay shopping centre.
Close to all city centre attractions but uniquely located in marina environment. The pub has a very friendly vibe and the food is exceptional, home made specials plus usual pub favourites but of a high standard and excellent value for money. Impeccably clean and comfortable accommodation, reflected throughout the premises. We stayed for four nights (not weekend) and didn't experience any noise issues from the bar. Staff were lovely and welcoming.
Although the hotel is a bit tired and tatty...the staff were lovely, polite and professional, the room was large and the bed was actually really comfortable! Decent shower power too! If you're looking for a cheap hotel in the city centre that's not bad at all then stay here...if you're looking for a romantic getaway then spend a bit more and stay elsewhere....but for a night out it's a 10minute walk to the bars at the marina and Humber street.
These apartments exceeded our expectations, for such a low price we didn't expect too much but they were really lovely, they were clean and smelt fresh and every member of staff we came across was super helpful and kind. It's the most at home i think i've ever felt in a hotel. The location was great for the city centre of Hull, and free parking was an added bonus. We will 100% return and recommend to our friends.
great hotel for our short citytrip to Hull, close to the train and bustation. easy to walk to the hotel. City centre is close to visit all the sights and the shopping possibilities. Friendly staff. we arrived very early and our room was ready so we could leave our luggage in the room. You can leave your luggage also in the hotel in a storeroom. A place for breakfast and dinner. and also 24 hour snacks.
Fantastic location and easy walk to all the restaurants and shops
Centred in the marina and old town and only a short distance over the new bridge to city centre
I would recommend this hotel as easy access to museums and historic sights as well as direct routes to east coast and out of city
Road diversion wasn’t too involved and when the route is completed it’s going to be great
Our stay at City Apartments was pleasant, good communication with the owner, very helpful. Good price for what you get, very large modern apartment. Private car park you have to pay for which is right outside the apartment. The location was close to the city centre. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we would definitely stay again and really recommend it.
The staff were absolutely brilliant they couldn't do enough for you no matter what your issue at any time of day or night. The location is suburb being about 2 minutes walk from the train station door's,and minutes walk from all the shops restaurants and pubs, with the excellent marina about 12 minutes away,if your in Hull this is the hotel for you.
Great location, great to have locked parking at the back of the hotel, lovely couple running the hotel, great large room with very comfortable bed/s, kettle, tea/biscuits etc available. Quiet and peaceful. Restaurants and take away chip shops close by, Tesco at walking distance behind the train station which also is the start of the city centre.
The management of the hotel provided an excellent service on every level. The hotel is run very well, the rooms are well looked after and clean, and the location is convenient for access to many different parts of the city. In terms of value for money, this is the best accommodation in Hull.
The Super king bed was really comfortable. Everything was clean and well maintained. The filter coffee and full pint of milk in the fridge was very welcome. The whole hotel had a real feel of the calm relaxed boutique about it. Perfect location too. Perfect for a city break.
The hotel was well situated for a night out at Hull theatre and was a good price. The hotel has done their best to make an old accommodation as clean and comfy as possible without investing in major renovations.
Great location near to both marina and city centre with shops/pubs/restaurants. Free parking space. Fairly quiet. Nicely decorated and furnished. Would stay here again.
The rooms, hotel, gym, etc. more generally were decent. Small staircase up to G floor and lift available from G-3. Easy check in/out and friendly staff.
