A beautiful, two bedroom barn conversion nestled in the heart of the peak district, this property has a good size, landscaped, pebbled patio area overlooking the beautiful rolling hills of Brassington.
We have efficient electric heating throughout the barn plus a cosy wood burning stove with enough logs and kindling for your first nights stay.
With the use of a chiminea for those chilly nights you can enjoy the outside area all year long.
A six seater dining area is Ideal for outdoor feasts and relaxing in the beautiful surroundings. Solar lights provide the perfect ambience for night time at the barn.
Within a short walk away from two lovely pubs well known for real ales and hearty pub food.
You will be staying in the heart of one of the most beautiful places to be.
Both bedrooms are private with their own W.C with a sumptuous roll top bath in the upstairs master bedroom and a shower adjoining the downstairs bedroom.
My name is Lucy I live in the beautiful, picturesque village of Brassington in the heart of Derbyshire. As well as hosting I am also an artist, creating mixed media paintings of peoples pets. You can see my work on face book by searching Lucy’s gallery.

An unmistakably Charming and characterful cottage for up to four people in the heart of the beautiful old mining village of Brassington.
Surrounded by stunning walks and close to attractions such as Carsington reservoir, Bakewell, Hopton Hall, Alton Towers and Chatsworth House there is always somewhere to explore.
Within a short walk from the barn you will find The Old Gate Inn, a 17th century coach inn and the Miners Arms, both great pubs known for quality ales and good food.
St James’s church is just a stroll down the road with parts of it dating back to 1066.
Upon return you can light the wood burning stove, enjoy a luxurious soak in the large roll top bath in the master bedroom or simply relax in the atmosphere of a beautiful country cottage.
