Meg and George would love to welcome you to their newly built beautifully themed private ensuite room called 'The Old Calf Pen' which boast a luxury ensuite, king size bed, a private entrance and patio. Situated on a Farm in Nempnett Thrubwell, located about 3 miles down quiet country lanes we can offer you an escape from the rat race, peace, quiet and beautiful countryside to relax in. What does our room offer??.. Toasty under floor heating throughout that will keep you cosy on a cold winters night. We also have a 24-7 pollen filtered ventilation system providing you with warm, filtered, fresh air, so you always wake up in a fresh environment. The bedding is hypoallergenic and it is washed at 60c using non-biological washing powder. The bath sheets and bath towels provided are 100% Egyptian cotton. The ensuite has a walk in shower with luxuriously softened water with shampoo, conditioner and body wash are provided for your use. You will be able to catch up on your favourite TV programmes from the comfort of your bed with a full smart HD TV.
My wife and I are keen farmers and spend most of our time out on the farm, but when we're not working we love to take our beloved little dog on walks, we especially like going down to Blagdon lake which is only a half hour walk from our place and is so beautiful. We've recently converted a barn on the farm and built in this generously sized ensuite room to rent out, so far we are enjoying meeting new guests and showing off the beautiful area we are so fortunate to live in.
Tucked away in peaceful Nempnett Thrubwell; a beautiful little hamlet over looking the Mendip hills AONB, offering picturesque views of Blagdon lake in the Yeo Valley; a perfect location for walking, fishing, cycling and relaxing. If you just want to explore the local area we are only a short drive from Bristol, Bath, Wells, Cheddar and Weston Super-Mare which all have something different to offer. Here at the farm we are conveniently close to Bristol Airport, but far enough away to not be under a flight path or near noisy roads. The only thing you might hear if your lucky, is a moo or two.
