Our traditional townhouse in the heart of Penrith has a modern feel inside with a very high standard of finish. Perfect for families looking for that Cumbrian getaway in the lakes. Being a 2 minute walk from the main street of Penrith which includes restaurants, pubs, bars, cinema, supermarkets, barbers, hairdressers, and great transport links to the rest of the Lakes via the bus station or taxi rank. It is also a 5 minute walk from the train station which includes a direct line from London - Glasgow.
We hope you enjoy your stay at our lovely home. We both work full time but will try to assist with any queries or requests. We do try to make our bookings interaction free.
Set on the fringes of the market town of Penrith, you could not be better placed to enjoy the Lake District at its best with every kind of outdoor activity on hand, the stunning Eden Valley, and even over the border into Scotland. Ullswater is a mere 10-minute drive away where you can enjoy sailing, canoeing or just take a leisurely launch trip taking in the magnificent scenery. Right in the heart of the Lake District, a 20-minute drive or bus trip will take you to the bustling market town of Keswick nestled between Skiddaw and beautiful Derwentwater. Stroll through the town with its many little shops, cafés, and restaurants, or take a gentle walk by the shores of Derwentwater. Of course, walking in the fells is a major draw to Keswick. For a more relaxed day drive into the stunning Eden Valley with its lush green countryside and traditional towns and villages, and a must is a trip on the Settle to Carlisle railway line which runs through the Eden Valley. Best of all return to Brunswick Holme, park the car and just cross the road to the local pubs and restaurants serving fabulous food. Train station and bus station. Just 0.3miles or a 8 minute walk.
