Da Vinci's Den is a luxury shepherd's hut, complete with star-gazing window over a king-size fitted bed, en-suite bathroom, open plan kitchen/dining/seating area. Oak stable doors open out onto a gravel patio area with antique outdoor table & chairs, with a bbq/firepit overlooking a field of trees.
This luxury Shepherd's Hut offers an indulgent peaceful stay. Here you will find blueberry dusk interiors, and beautiful splashes of colour in the Emma Shipley designer soft furnishings creating an exotic romantic atmosphere. Da Vinci’s Den has the red/turquoise colour scheme and features a huge stargazing roof window – imagine lying on the gorgeous king-size bed, watching stars in the clear Devon night sky. In addition the huts is equipped with a fully fitted bathroom and kitchen, and double stable doors opening out onto a seating area, kitted out with antique cast-iron tables and chairs and a firepit/barbecue. Hidden behind the hut is a stunning log-fired Swedish outdoor bath and recliners on your own private decking – a romantic hideaway for two! Relax with a glass of fizz at the end of a day exploring the wilds of Devon, surrounded by twinkling lights in the trees and the sounds of the countryside as the sun sets in the west.

You will find your luxury boutique escape situated between North Tawton and Winkleigh, just off the A3124, and approximately 7 miles from Okehampton. With good connections from the A30, the property is easily reached by road, rail (Okehampton or Exeter St David's + taxi ride) and Exeter Airport. Buses run past our property on the hour, but we highly recommend having a car to fully explore this unspoilt area of mid-west Devon. The local villages are 2 miles away, but not easily walkable due to agricultural traffic.
