Fantastic house, set in beautiful landscapes, clean and already heated hot tub. The hosts were particularly helpful returning our travel cot to us after we left it in the house, driving it over 100 miles! Would definitely return.

The house was fantastic and we had a blast. Hot tub is a fab extra and really relaxing. There was plenty of room for 8 off us to chill out completely. Will be hoping to come back with my family.

‘BEAUTIFUL FOREST LOCATION WITH OPEN VIEWS’. Camusmore House offers luxury accommodation and is an exclusive self-catering lodge with hot tub, in Cairngorm National Park surrounded by Scotland’s largest ancient scot’s pine woodland.
We and our family have holidayed in this area for more years than we can remember. Either for outdoor sports, walking with our dogs, cycling ski-ing or relaxing and reading and enjoying the unrivalled scenery of this unique location.
Camusmore House has a large garden perfect for playing and sits centrally in the Rothiemurcus forest, the largest area of native scots pine forest in the UK - birds, mini beasties, deer, reindeer, flowers and fungi - and a playground for all ages and interests. And this whole area is within the Cairngorms National Park, at 1,748 square miles, the largest in the UK, twice the size of the Lake district national Park and bigger than Luxemburg. There is direct access to local walks from the garden or within minutes walk or drive there are almost too many activities to list; Four munros, climbing, ski-ing- 10 minutes to the ski centre - cycling, long distance walks – the ‘Lairig Ghru’ a mountain path starting from a few yards away for 25 miles without crossing a road – shooting, fishing, forest playparks at ‘Landmark’ Carrbridge, watersports and beach at Loch Morlich and Loch Insh. All this under an un-street lit sky where you and your kids might just have their first real view of the ‘Great Bear’, the Milky Way or if you're lucky the Northern lights.
