Bulgarian-born, I stumbled across Scarborough and have loved it ever since. I'm really excited to welcome you to Carlton House and I hope you have an amazing time.

Property information

Situated on the South Cliff of Scarborough, just around the corner from the Esplanade and the amazing North Sea views our property is the perfect getaway. We have taken on Carlton House with the passion to create a Pet Friendly Budget Boutique Accommodation. It is a family run guesthouse and a long term project for us as we keep renovating and improving the facilities. Please bear in mind that this beautiful building is still a work in progress and the room rates will reflect that. Our quality breakfast is absolutely delicious, using local butchers, organic eggs and fresh ingredients with plenty of choice. We prepare everything freshly, from scratch and aim to reduce waste of food and condiments. Carlton House is Self-Check in and Self-Check out property that allows flexible arrival times and our guests have access to the property 24.7 without the need to rely on staff. We offer room service for guests that are staying with us for 3 or more nights. There is plenty of parking on the street and we can issue a Parking Permit for our guests if they wish to leave their vehicle and explore on foot, there is a small charge and more information will be sent with the Welcome letter when you make a booking. We know that there is a lot more to be done to improve the building and facilities and we will keep doing so. The finished project will be a unique property that offers warm, home-like feeling where you can bring your pet with you and have a peaceful break. Our aim is to give you the best service we can and to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Neighbourhood information

Scarborough South Cliff is a treat. You have the Italian Gardens, fantastic views and walks just around the corner from Carlton House, Restaurants, Bars and Cafes. The Scarborough Spa Complex is 500 meters away, so if you are looking to attend one of their events, Carlton House will be a great place to lay your head. If you are bringing your pet with you the area offers plenty of pleasant walk opportunities. Just keep in mind that dogs are not allowed on Scarborough beach from March to September.
