Property information

The building was built back in 1879. It is located in the marketplace of Leek town centre. It has been refurbished in March 2024. We have converted the offices to comfortable residential rooms. We could not change the external features since we are in the conservatory area. The main double door is as old as the building. You must hold one side to be able to open it. The stairs were built on the previous alleyway on the side of the shop entry (previously, there was a passage from street to the rear). So, beware of the stairs at the entry, and it will surely keep you fit in and out on a daily basis. We are surrounded by up-class quality restaurants, bars and continental takeaways, shops, and other high street brands of shops and next door to indoor markets (which are open four times a week). All varieties of facilities are next door to us and within walking distance. as we are in the heart of Leek Centre. With that in mind, we only left to provide accommodation in our building.

Neighbourhood information

We are located at the historic marketplace in the heart of Leek Town Center. We are next door to Specsavers, opposite the Coffee1 cafe. All the renowned restaurants, bars, and tea rooms next door to us. Because of that, we do not provide any of those on our property but rather support the local businesses. There is no parking on the premises. However, On-street parking is within five yards. Free on-street parking is allowed from 3.30 pm till 8 am in the morning We are surrounded by paid carparks, daily fees as 2 pounds. The market town Leek. Known as the 'Queen of the Staffordshire Moorlands', Leek is a former textile town with a long and fascinating history. The un-spoilt town centre offers a refreshing alternative to modern shopping malls and has a wealth of independent shops, including former silk mills housing antique and reproduction pine centres, as well as traditional and contemporary furnishings. Delicious local produce can be found in abundance at traditional butchers, bakers, greengrocers, delicatessens, and cafes. Leek is also home to speciality producers of condiments, confectionery, preserves, Traditional markets abound, both indoors in the beautifully restored Victorian Butter Market and outdoors in the Market Place, offering everything from general goods, antiques and collectables to fine foods and special 'Totally Locally' Sunday markets. And when it comes to wining and dining, you can choose from a tempting selection of cafés, real ale pubs, and restaurants. Further afield, you'll find the unique, tooth-like rock formations of The Roaches, Rudyard Lake with its picturesque setting and narrow-gauge railway, and Tittesworth Water, a popular and accessible attraction for visitors of
