Jackie and Geraldine are two sisters and this house has been in their family for decades as we previously owned by their grandfather.

Enjoy a cosy break away in this truly unique home in historical Exeter. Tucked away on the outskirts of the city, this home offers the perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing and shopping. With enough space for 6 guests, the lodge can accommodate families or groups who are looking for something a little quirky. The peaceful cemetery grounds provide a beautiful backdrop to the home. You are only a 5 minute drive to town, and the canal is a 10 minute walk away.
The lodge is a single storey property with just a couple of steps up to the front door and down to the kitchen, bathroom and utility area. Enter the property straight into the hallway with the first of three king size bedrooms on the right and the second on the left facing the main driveway into the cemetery. Further along the hallway and the cosy lounge is on the left and a third bedroom on the right hand side.
At the back of the property is a well equipped kitchen, the bathroom with generous shower and the utility room.
Please note, that there is only one bathroom and no dining area at this property. The living room is small but seats 6.
This place has a homely feel and is decorated in keeping with its traditional character. There are some striking features such as carved stone walls and stained glass, but the rooms are bright and airy with large windows. All the bedrooms have King-size beds in them and the mattresses were recently purchased, allowing for a comfortable night's sleep.
This is a unique home providing something a little different than your standard Airbnb property, however, it still has all the usual modern amenities so you will be able to enjoy your stay hassle-free.
The rear garden has a dining area and is partially lawned. There is a fairly busy road next to the entrance of the drive to the property, so traffic noise can be heard whilst outside. This cannot be heard once inside.
