Welcome to Chy-Darvah A light, modern one-bedroom annexe in a quiet part of Penzance — perfect for a laid-back Cornish getaway. The annexe is part of our home, so you might hear us (and our friendly dogs) moving around upstairs from time to time — nothing too wild, but we like to be upfront! We’ve kept the price a little lower because of this. We’re also happy to welcome one quiet-ish dog for a small extra fee, so your four-legged friend can join the adventure. Inside, you’ll find a bright, airy space with everything you need: a fully equipped kitchen (with washing machine and dishwasher), a comfy corner sofa and large TV for cosy nights in, and a king-size bed with a memory foam mattress for a great night’s sleep. Access is via the side of our house — just walk up the driveway and around to your private entrance. There’s plenty of free parking available on the quiet street (please note, parking on the driveway isn’t permitted). Chy-Darvah is in a brilliant spot: just a 10-minute stroll into Penzance town for shops, pubs and restaurants, and around 10 minutes’ walk down the charming Love Lane to reach the beautiful seafront promenade. We’re also within easy walking distance of Polgoon Vineyard, an award-winning local vineyard, a cosy inn with a great beer garden, and a traditional fish and chip shop — perfect for easy evenings close to home. Plus, you’re only a short drive from some of Cornwall’s most beautiful beaches and coastal walks. We’d love to welcome you to Chy-Darvah!
Hello, this our first time hosting, but we are excited to share our cosy annexe with you. We’re a friendly and relaxed blended family, plus dogs and a cat! I work from home managing my own Social Media Business and my partner managers a local family estate. We love the sea, our garden and making the most of Cornwall. We recommend Auntie Mays Pasties in Newlyn, and The Coastguards in Mousehole if you’re feeling fancy!
A quiet residential area of Penzance, within walking distance of Polgoon Vineyard & restaurant, The Pirate Inn, Buzz’s Fish & Chips and close to town.
