Company information

Our site is small consisting of 5 units that myself and husband manage and maintain. The Shepherd huts were built by us on site and they are beautiful and have everything you need for a comfortable, cosy stay. We do try to meet everyone that comes to stay with us and we are happy to advise in relation to walking trails, where to eat etc. Our aim is for our guests to have a relaxing, stress free experience.

Property information

We are nestled at the foot of the North York Moors National Park in a beautiful location. Clay Bank Huts is a small quiet site that is ideal for escaping the stress of everyday life and enjoying the fantastic panoramic moor views. We are located 5 miles from the Market town of Stokesley and 13 from the beautiful market town of Helmsley. We have some of the most amazing walking trails right here on our doorstep, including part of the Coast to Coast and Cleveland Way National trails. We do have house rules which are for the safety and comfort of all of our guests. Please request a copy before you book to ensure that you are happy with the rules.

Neighbourhood information

We are located only a few miles from Great Ayton and Stokesley where you can browse around the quaint little shops and experience one of the local eateries. We are a 25-30 minute drive from the coast and Saltburn is a lovely coastal town with amazing fish & chips. Helmsley is around 25 minutes away, lovely shops and a must is the walled gardens which are beautiful.
