This is a self contained loft in a private and undeveloped 300 year old farm building, on a private estate with private gardens. It is 50m from the beach with private and direct access to the beach. There is no public road between you and the shoreline - very private! The views are spectacular and the kitchen is very well equipped. Perfect for hiking or skiing the mountains, kayaking to the seal colony or cycling, walking or horse-riding along The Caledonia Way/National Cycle Network.
I am from Scotland and live with my English wife. We are based between the UK and Myanmar and travel between them all the time. I spend my time in Myanmar working on electrification: 40 million people still don't have a reliable source of electricity. My wife has a company, Kalinko Homeware, which supports artisans and communities in rural Myanmar, exporting and retailing Burmese homeware and textiles to the West. We love travelling, eating, the outdoors and we couldn't live without some time at our home in Scotland to relax.
We are a five minute walk from Port Appin and its' restaurants, shops and ferry to Lismore.
