Long Eaton is a bustling market town situated mid-way between Nottingham & Derby and is an extremely popular place to live. West Park is a few minutes away, it is great for a relaxing walk and is very popular with runners. West Park Leisure Centre has a fantastic swimming pool and gym which is available to non-members and there is outdoor gym equipment dotted around the park too. There is a selection of great bars and cafes nearby, notably the Sawley Junction Micro Pub and Long Eaton Farm Shop
