Explore, unwind and relax with your whole family or friends at our peaceful place in the historic market town of Leek, on the edge of the Peak District National Park. We are 20 mins from Alton Towers Theme Park, where you can enjoy thrill-seeker rides and a amusements. A short hop from many local beauty spots including: - The Roaches & Luds Church : featured on Britain's Greatest 100 Walks - Three Shires Head : waterfall & Wild Swimming spot - Tittesworth Water : activity centre & Paddle Boarding - Rudyard Lake: sailing - Trentham Gardens estate
As your host I am available to be contacted and would be happy to recommend or arrange with you any restaurants or days out, travel and historic places to visit. There is so much to see and do on the doorstep of the mighty Peak District. I am a keen hiker and can show you some suitable routes for all abilities. In the event of emergency there is a community hospital for minor injuries in town. The GP Health clinic and Pharmacy are both with in walking distance.
Two supermarkets are with in walking distance, 2 mins walk. A fantastic Fish & Chip Shop is on Fountain St, 2 mins walk . Award winning Pabna Curry house is 5 mins walk away, also does take-away. Brough Park Leisure Centre with swimming pool and playground is with in 5 minutes walk. Doctors GP Surgery and Pharmacy is on Fountain St, 2 minute walk. Public transport is available in Leek, and we are 5 minutes from the Bus Station. Stoke-On-Trent railway station is approx. 30 minute car ride. Parking is outside the house on both sides of the street with no restrictions. There is also a Council car park, free after 3PM , just up the road by the crossroads with Lidl.
