The guest suite is attached to our cottage but has its own entrance. We are located in a lovely quiet village in the Peak District. We are surrounded by countryside, but close to places of great interest, including the market own of Bakewell, the spa town of Buxton and the grand house at Chatsworth. We are on the doorstep to the Derbyshire Dales, allowing people to enjoy walking, cycling and climbing.
We like to welcome people to our cottage. We recognise that our guests will be visiting the area for many different reasons and want to make sure we match their individual needs through effective communication. Please let us know or ask if there is something we may be able to help with.
Great Longstone is a quiet village, centrally based in the Peak District. The village is surrounded by and sits just below the Great Longstone Edge, which provides dramatic views across the countryside. It has two pubs, a small village shop and church. It is situated five minute from the Monsal Trail which used to be the old Midland railway line, which is now a popular trail for walkers and cyclists.
