Company information

Sarah and Al have been welcoming guests to Cranford for over 10 years. We love being part of the local community. Sarah is involved in delivering an annual Mountain Festival, running ceilidhs and events for visitors. As well as being an awesome homebaker (your treat awaits!), she has a great knowledge of local plants and wildlife and also enjoys belting out some tunes in the local choir! Al is a retained firefighter, Mountain Rescue Team member and is involved in managing a community hydro power scheme. He also enjoys ski touring and mountain running.

Property information

Cranford is a traditional Highland house extended to offer comfortable and welcoming accommodation.

Neighbourhood information

We are passionate about the stunning Cairngorm National Park which our lovely village is located in. We are surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery, clean rivers, quiet pinewoods all rich in wildlife and biodiversity. It is a fantastic playground for either mountain sports or relaxing walks in the peaceful glens. Nearby are romantic castles, whisky distillery, galleries and lots of great places to eat and drink. We would be delighted to share our knowledge on the best local walks, places to eat and things to do.
