Property info

Built in 1890. our family-run lodge retains much of it's Victorian charm. Each one of our 12 rooms are uniquely decorated, offering tea and coffee amenities and WiFi for guest comfort. Our bar, Bar 1890, is a specialist Single Malt Scotch Whisky bar; all of the whiskies are hand-selected by the family. The bar is a perfect place to enjoy a special dram whilst overlooking Loch Linhe and the mountains beyond.

Neighborhood info

Creag Mhor Lodge sits on the A82 over looking Loch Linnhe. On the far shore is the Dragon's Tooth, with it's nine-hole golf course, rated one of the best short courses in Scotland. A paradise for outdoor activities, we are conveniently situated between Glencoe and Fort William. Starting in May and generally running to October, the Harry Potter train departs from Fort William daily. The train journey described as the most scenic in the world. The Ardnamurchan peninsula beckons just across the Corrin ferry, a short eight minute trip from us. If you keep going, you reach the most Westerly point of the mainland UK, with panoramic views over the Atlantic. The distillery in Fort William offers an excellent tour and there is the Caledonian Canal with excellent easy walking along its banks. There are plenty of day trips you can enjoy and short boat trips, some leisurely, some more exciting. You can find wild life safaris, try all kinds of water sports, or the Ice Factor with the biggest indoor ice wall in Europe to climb . Why not hire a bike and take advantage of the new route 78 cycle trail for something more gentle. Or of course, why not sit by the log burner and simply read a book.
