A charming 17th century home, located in the heart of Canterbury, boasts 3 bedrooms and is designated as a historic Building. Situated near the city's most notable attractions including the Beaney Museum, Marlowe Theatre, Westgate Towers, and picturesque Westgate Gardens for punting on the Stour. This prime location is just a stone's throw away from local restaurants, breweries, and cafes. The interior has been meticulously restored with no expense spared - featuring Italian designer velvet upholsteries and Georgian antiques. The grand entrance living room is centred around a large Inglenook fireplace with a wood-burning stove. Complete with Georgian chaise lounges, an authentic card table, an upright piano, and quality sofas for up to 8 guests. The master bedroom has a Sleigh Bed, Luxuroius thick curtains and another historic fireplace. The master bathroom with copper Freestanding bath and walk-in shower. An ensuite shower in the master bedroom. The newly equipped modern kitchen includes a large oven, induction hob, fridge freezer, and microwave. A utility area with a washer dryer is also provided for convenience. Equidistant from Canterbury West and East Railway Stations One Parking space is provided inclusive with EV charging for an extra fee. An additional parking space is available for a fee from 3pm on day of check-in to noon the following day. For groups of 5+ guests and stays of 2 or more nights one extra parking space (closeby in a business permit car park) is included in you stay reservation is required.
